I agree, the insurance company often fails to properly calculate the Average Weekly Wage, which lowers the amount you receive. Often times it is because they ignore amounts that should be included, like for wages on other jobs you did at the same time, certain disability payments you received during the period or many other types of benefits like bonuses etc. There are numerous rules governing the calculation and it would be helpful to have an advocate asking you the questions that need to be asked (because the insurance company certainly won’t).
