There are a number of issues with lenders these days, approximately 30% of the people coming in my office have a mortgage or debt issue. However, you will have to provide more information as to the circumstances surrounding your issue. There is currently a settlement that may help some individuals modify, who do not have government backed mortgages, but that could take several months to develope.
